Autumn is a favorite time of year for many people. Late September and early October have a restless feel. It's that time of year when so many things change. Here in Southern California there's no burst of color, crisp cool air before the first snow falls, or pulling winter jackets out of the closet.
But kids are off to school, long overdue projects can be tackled and new goals set. The weather's cool enough to actually turn on the oven and bake a casserole, instead of grilling on the barbecue or serving coldcuts. Just turning off the air conditioner and letting in the fresh air makes things feel new again. Never mind New Year's day. Fall is a great time of year to set new goals!
